Hotel Dubrovnik

Small hotel, ideally located on pedestrianised area - lots of restaurants and nice bars nearby and beach just at the end of the road. 5 mins walk to bus-stop for Dubrovnik Old Town. Large, comfortable beds. Good air-conditioning, hot showers, quiet at night, good WiFi. Buffet breakfast. Pleasant staff.

I would really like to say something about the hotel. Before I arrived I saw some negative reviews about the breakfast, however during my stay, each day I join in breakfast after at least 930 still got plenty of choice. There's once hotel manager even ask the kitchen to make me some fresh scramble eggs cause it was almost empty. I would say communication is very important and the staff here are very friendly and eager to help.

Very nice little hotel near a beach and a beautiful bay... with a walkway long the cliffs and marvelous views. The location is also near to town, only 10 minutes away with a taxi. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excelent. The bathroom had been renewed and it was perfect. The hotel also has a nice restaurant.

A one-way shuttle service was included in the price and our driver, Mirzo, was duly waiting for us at the airport, and drove us directly to the hotel without delay (30 minutes). Leonardo, the friendly receptionist, who spoke perfect English (and a few other languages as well), made us very welcome as soon as we arrived, and allocated us a lovely room (number 206) on the second floor, with a balcony that overlooked the terrace and the nice pedestrianised street beyond. The air-conditioned room was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping kept it that way by servicing it each day, which included the provision of fresh towels. The room and its ensuite bathroom were tastefully decorated and well equipped, courtesy of a relatively recent refurbishment of the hotel. Its double bed was a good size and very comfortable. The room also had compact refrigerator that kept anything we put in it nice and cold. A buffet breakfast was also included in the price, and there was a good selection of food on offer each morning, which could be taken inside in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. This property is ideally situated, being only a couple of minutes' walk to the beautiful (pebble) Lapad Beach in one direction, while the stop for the frequent bus service (Route 6, Babin Kuk), which can get you directly to Dubrovnik's spectacular Old Town in less than 30 minutes, is a similar distance from the hotel in the other direction. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Dubrovnik, would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a very good 3-star hotel in the greater Dubrovnik area.

Beds were really comfortable,AC worked perfectly. Central location with good bus connection. Beach is very nice. Reception staff with excellent English, very professional and good.
